“To wish to be well is a part of becoming well.” Seneca

The MRI made these click click click noises. As I tried to take my mind off the noise and say a Hail Mary, I could hear the machine start talking to me. The more things I began to think about, the more the massive magnetic machine started to manipulate my thought pattern. I thought about running when I returned home and the machine churred as if saying, "NO, NO, NO, NO"! Why would this monster want me not to run? I began thinking of a trip to NYC and again the machine said "CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP"! Was this machine reading my mind? I tried to think of lottery numbers and that is when the technician came in and injected me with the new highlights that are gracing my head. Well actually she put it in my vein, but I am sure that you can see my highlights at night! The new machines are much faster, a lot noisier but the guy said they produce clearer images. So soon everyone will know what exactly lies within my head... the machine whirrs again "NADA NADA NADA NADA"!
