Those "three little words"!

What are your three little words? For a romantic it can be... I love you; a newly married couple... Shit I'm pregnant; for the parents...mom I'm home; for hikers...crud a bear! Those three little words mean something to everyone and can be interpreted differently as well. Take for example.. I love you. Something we all like to hear from our loved ones. So you are sitting at the kitchen table.. your son comes up to you and says "mom I love you"! Now, you are thinking.. not to odd right... well..then you get hit with.. "can I have $20 bucks for the weekend"? Yeah.. you knew it was coming! No doubt your kid loves you.. it is in the manual you get that comes with the newborn..page 6.. having a child will change your life. Your child will love you unconditionally. You will receive hugs and kisses and ask for nothing in return.....Yeah.. I didn't get that manual either! I think as a mom the most important words are: "mom I'm home"! these words to me mean.. I love you more than hearing I love you. they mean.. I love you enough to follow the rules, I love you enough to come home, I love you enough to hear your reply..even if it is.."great take out the trash"! Being in love with your family is the greatest feeling ever. Big or small.. all we need is love! Even without those three little words!

New words for WEBSTER!

We have just had the best two weeks ever! Kiah left yesterday and as hard as it is... we know that just four more months and the guys begin their return. It will without a doubt not go by fast enough! Our days were spent drinking coffee, catching up on events, shopping, hugging and quality time with the kids, family and friends. Kiah made me laugh more than I had in a very long time with tales of events from "downrange"! It is wonderful that our men and women in uniform, despite the crazy daily events, find time to laugh and play practical jokes. Laughter.. there is nothing better when life presents you with stressful events. Michela's birthday was wonderful. She had her daddy home and for her, that was more than enough. She will still have to get a pie in her face... that was not included in this years festivities..but we still have 12 months to pull that one off! :) So now that Kiah has gone, the kids are back in school and normalcy has sorta resumed.. I have a few moments to reflect on the ways that I have been avoiding exercise. Procrastitraining- a word used to describe one's intention to train for an athletic event . try it in a sentence:- During the past several months I have been fully involved in my annual procrastitraining with the local athletic women's association. Procrastithlete- a word used to describe the intention of becoming an athlete. try it in a sentence:-She is the best procrastithete I have ever known! Procrastithon- a word used to describe one's intention to participate in a -thon (mara, tri, etc) try it in a sentence:- After several offers, the young lady decided to join the local Winers Procrastithon, which will include a shot of red wine every tenth of a mile. As you can see, I am starting my procrastercize right now. The shoes are on, the dog is waiting and so I will start. I just hope my ADD or ADHD doesn't kick in as I walk down the stairs to get on the elliptical!
