Monday Mania

Blogging won't come easy to me! I usually spend most of my day hanging out with Scooby and Sully(Scooby's favorite toy) or doing laundry. Conversation is not something I have. Well, I have them, but I am not supposed to admit that I have them, particularly when they include um... me, myself and I! When Kiah is home, you can often find him "verbally creating his plan out loud" he says he is not talking to himself, but when he is in the "office" I don't care what anyone says... he is talking to himself! I think when Forrest was little we used to encourage him to play alone and talk to himself to find his voice, perhaps that is what I am doing... finding my voice.... again! I am sure Michela talks to herself, well I know she talks to Scooby, because he will come to me and give me that "look". You know that "Mom she is getting ready to put me in drag again" look! Twenty minutes later, here comes Scooby dressed up in my undergarments complete with a boa and sunglasses! You know Scooby talks to himself, if I try to think about what he would say it would be something like "I wonder if I take off down the street just how much trouble I will be in? Oh that tree looks.... gotta go..." and off he goes down the street happy as a pig in mud! (please note.. the dog catcher's truck is now a weekly vision)! The views of the mountains here in the Colorado Springs area are simply magnificent. We live just outside Fort Carson and have great views of Pikes Peak and the Cheyenne Mountain. Taking Scooby for his morning walk is one of my favorite rituals. Like having a great cup of coffee, walking in the fresh air and listening to the birds sing (and some mornings the construction workers) is very stimulating. Yes, walks allow me to be very reflective. I wonder what style of homes are being built, who will live in them, will they have children, dogs, and will they return my greeting. Most people here in Colorado are very friendly, but like most of us, we glide through the day with a running dialogue in our head and fail to take sight of our surroundings. Okay so maybe blogging is easier than I thought. I don't have much to say, but maybe like some of you who blog, I can find something to fill you in on. Like my search for employment! That should be a "hot topic"! Have a great Monday! -
